Agronomy Update 2021 is going virtual in January under the leadership of four of Alberta’s crop commissions

Alberta Barley, Alberta Canola, Alberta Pulse Growers, and Alberta Wheat Commission are working together to continue the legacy of Agronomy Update.

The annual conference, which provides timely agronomy information to producers and agronomists, has traditionally been a two-day, in-person event hosted by Alberta Agriculture and Forestry. Stakeholders from all links of the value chain look forward to the event as an opportunity to engage with industry experts and learn the latest agronomic information. Agronomy Update 2021 is going virtual from January 19 to 20. Due to current COVID-19 social distancing guidelines, a virtual platform was chosen to not only ensure the safety of our community, but also to allow increased engagement from across Alberta.

In collaboration with a dedicated committee of researchers, agronomists, agricultural retailers, and farmers, the commissions are currently finalizing a slate of high-quality speakers on a range of interesting and relevant topics. A full agenda and registration details will be available soon.

The commissions recognize the dedication and effort of all those who have worked over the years to make Agronomy Update the valuable conference that it is today. The commissions strive to carry on and grow the conference with the needs of producers in mind so that it continues to be one of the leading agronomy events in Alberta.
