Today, the Alberta Barley Commission (ABC) and the Alberta Wheat Commission (AWC) announced the preliminary results of two plebiscites where a majority of eligible producers voted in favour of amalgamating the commissions.

Farmers now have seven (7) calendar days to request a Final Quality Determination

Today and throughout the rest of October, Alberta barley and wheat farmers can vote on whether Alberta Barley and the Alberta Wheat Commission (AWC) should formally amalgamate to form a single crop commission.
