Annual Meetings

Regional Meetings

Alberta Grains regional meetings are held in regional locations across the province each November. Regional meetings are organized by each region's directors and delegates to provide producers with information about the commission’s activities for the past year, review audited financials and help shape the future of the industry.

Regional meetings are also held to conduct governance elections for directors and delegate positions. Check our Elections page to see open positions in your region.

These local meetings are a great opportunity for eligible producers to put forward resolutions to provide input into the commission.

Each regional meeting is free to attend and pre-registration is required to claim a free hot lunch. Guest speakers are also present to share farm management tips, market insights and new agronomy research.

Visit our Events page for dates and locations of this year’s regional meetings.

Annual General Meeting

At the Alberta Grains Annual General Meeting (AGM), eligible wheat and barley farmers can learn more about the commission’s work over the past year, review audited financial statements and participate in an open forum on resolutions brought forward during regional meetings.

Our next AGM will take place in January of 2025. All wheat and barley farmers can attend the AGM at no cost and connect with staff and regional governance.

AGM locations and details will be posted on our Events page after Regional Meetings in the fall.
