Looking for Fields to Survey!

Every year, through the hard work of Alberta Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Economic Development employees, risk maps are released for wheat midge and wheat stem sawfly. However, a vital piece of the success of the surveillance is the ability for the researchers to access farm fields.  

If you are a producer who is willing to allow field access to Shelley Barkley, the Alberta Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Economic Development staff member who is conducting the survey, please reach out to me or to Shelley directly. Note that all biovigilance standards are maintained when accessing fields.
