Industry Partners

Alberta Grains works closely with a number of industry partners both provincially and nationally to speak with a strong, unified voice on issues and concerns that affect businesses, organizations, individuals and families throughout the agriculture industry.

Team Alberta represents a working collaboration between seven of Alberta’s crop commissions: Alberta Canola, Alberta Grains, Alberta Pulse Growers, Alberta-British Columbia Seed Growers, Alberta Sugar Beets and the Potato Growers of Alberta. Collectively we represent approximately 40,000 farmer members.

The GGC is the National Voice of Grain Farmers from coast to coast. Representing over 65,000 farmers, GGC members are trade-oriented, sustainable and innovative. As the farmer-driven association for the grains industry, the GGC advocates for the federal government to take decisions supporting grain growers' competitiveness and profitability across Canada.

Canada Grains Council membership includes representatives from all segments of the value chain (producers, grain handlers/exporters, input suppliers, and processors) and all of the major commodity organizations. In everything they do, the Canada Grains Council strives to build consensus and speak as one voice on the issues that matter to the agriculture sector.
